Languages spoken
L’association Les Chantiers Tramasset, founded in 1997, has taken over a unique heritage site in the Entre-deux-Mers region: the former Tramasset Frères shipyards, listed as a Historic Monument and owned by Le Tourne town council. Anchored 20km upstream of Bordeaux in a picturesque setting on the banks of the Garonne, the association creates and develops innovative cultural, social and environmental activities using wooden boats, the river banks and the river as a support. It offers:

– an artistic programme and a community refreshment bar from June to the end of September
.
– participative workcamps (riverbank restoration, flotilla maintenance, international volunteer workcamps)
– a range of events and activities to raise public awareness of the river, including
– hosting groups of adults and children.
