An Introduction to Animated Film to Langon

Discover the art of cut-out animation!
We’re going to create an animated video of an acrobat practising on the beach.
This workshop will take place in three stages:
– Creating an animated puppet, working on the design and cutting out the joints
– Drawing the beach backdrop. Working on colours, gradients and wave patterns
– Animating the character against the backdrop. Work on movement, rhythm and imagination.
For children and adults aged 8 and over
You don’t need to ‘know how to draw’ to take part in this workshop; we’ll be focusing mainly on the logic of movement.
You can attend all or part of the workshop. If you’re only coming for the animation session, you’ll use the templates drawn by the instructor. Lunch break between 1 pm and 2 pm; picnics on site are permitted.
