August 1914: France calls upon its sons to defend the Motherland. For Jean, a local lad and miller at the Glory Mill, the time to leave is almost upon him. On the evening of his farewell to his mother – a woman of the land and a storyteller – the moment is one of memories. The history of Bazas comes to life in the blink of an eye in this show, brought to life by passionate locals from Bazas, whether they be extras, technicians, set designers or costume designers.

1,000 characters, horses and horse-drawn carriages make up this grand historical and romantic epic.

From 7.00 pm, enjoy a quick bite to eat at the Auberge des Troubadours, along with wooden games. At 7.30 pm, you can also catch the theatrical performance “Grégoire or the Legend of the Knight of Bazas”. The show is scheduled to begin at 10.00 pm.
