Stage batucada to Langon

Give yourself the chance to immerse yourself in the festive and collective world of the samba schools with this batucada – Afro-Caribbean percussion course, led by Grégoire Merleau, a renowned musician with a passion for Brazilian rhythms!

Two courses, two levels:

– 24 January: initiation / discovery – for beginners, adults and children aged 8 and over (accompanied by a parent)

– 25 January: advanced – reserved for experienced practitioners and confirmed musicians

Programme:

9am: welcome

9.30am – 4pm: course with convivial lunch break (packed lunch)

Learning Batucada instruments (Surdos, Caixa, Timba, Répique…), rhythmic techniques, collective work and cultural approach.
