What fossils tell us to Saucats
Le 07/07/2026Languages spoken
This activity has proved a great success; many budding palaeontologists discover during their visit that there were numerous fossil remains in Saucats that are just as fascinating as those of dinosaurs…
The activity begins at the museum (approximately 1 hour) with a tour of the museum, fun quizzes tailored to each age group, and the observation of microfossils using binocular magnifying glasses.
It continues in the forest (1 hour, including a 5-minute drive) to explore two key sites from which a large number of specimens on display at the museum were extracted.
These activities are primarily aimed at children aged 6–12 accompanied by their parents.
Duration: approximately 2 hours
