Ile de Raymond to Paillet

Languages spoken

French

L’île de Raymond, formed by a dead arm of the Garonne running alongside the communes of Rions, Paillet and Lestiac, is the last alluvial wetland in the Gironde. Renatured and open to the public, the island is an important educational tool for reconnecting with the Garonne and nature. Numerous tours are organised throughout the year.
