FERMETURE TEMPORAIRE Ile de Raymond to Paillet

Languages spoken

French

INACCESSIBLE DUE TO FLOODING – Raymond Island, formed by a backwater of the Garonne River running alongside the municipalities of Rions, Paillet and Lestiac, is the last alluvial wetland in the Gironde. Renaturalised and open to the public, the island is an important educational tool that allows everyone to reconnect with the Garonne and nature. Numerous tours are organised throughout the year.
