From Goualade to Goualade along the River Ciron.

Today’s programme:

From 8.30 am: Welcome coffee in Goualade

9.15 am: Tour of Saint-Saturnin Church in Goualade

9.45 am: Departure for Saint-Clair Church in Gouts, tour of the church and its grounds

11.30 am: Tour of the farmstead and sheepfold at Hourtan.

12.30 pm: Tour of Lartigue Church, a rare Neoclassical building in the Great Moors.

1.00 pm: Packed lunch.

2.30 pm: Departure for the ancient castle of Castelnau de Mesmes, known as ‘the lost castle’.

3.30 pm–4.00 pm: Walk to the former paper mill at Castelnau. Explore the industrial wasteland and the artistic ‘third place’ that has sprung up there.

4.30 pm–5.00 pm: Departure for the round sheepfold at Goualade.

6.00 pm: Return to Goualade. Musical finale in Saint-Saturnin Church with the Coeur des femmes.
