The Fête à Léo is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary, as are the SNDT festivals, which took over from the Eté girondin in 2002. Now organised by the association Les Amis de Leo Drouyn, the festival will, over the course of ten summer days from June to September, showcase the heritage and landscapes of communities often off the beaten track, following in the footsteps of and drawing inspiration from the work of Leo Drouyn (1816–1896) as an artist and historian. Each day is organised in collaboration with the local councils, meaning that no two days are the same. The festival cheerfully combines hiking, exhibitions, musical recitals, scholarship and conviviality, celebrating all aspects of heritage: monuments, landscapes and local produce (food and drink), in partnership with residents and local stakeholders.
