Ona Mae is the stage name of the artist and anthropologist Mariona Villadelprat, a singer-songwriter of Spanish origin who lives in France.
Her deep admiration for diversity and her strong affinity for folk music have shaped a unique, sensitive style that is open to the world.
Launched in 2021, Ona Mae invites you on a dreamlike and immersive journey, connecting three continents: her Mediterranean and Western roots blend with Latin American and Afro-Latin influences, harmonising with the Mandinka/Wassalou music of West Africa.
